Convertible vehicles can utilize window control functions, including automatic window roll-up and roll-down features when locking or unlocking. However, the hardtop or soft-top convertible operation cannot be controlled through this system.

NOTE: We recommend this upgrade kit is installed by an automotive professional who understands vehicle wiring well. This kit can be installed be the average person, but individual experience can differ among customers, increasing the chances of possible issues.

INSTALLATION GUIDE: An installation guide will be automatically sent to your email upon purchase of this kit. If you don’t receive it, please check your spam or junk folder. Additionally, the videos below can also be used to assist with installation.

PROGRAMMING TIME: Each of these units is a high-tech retrofit kit, custom-configured to your specific vehicle’s year, make, and model. Because of this, each kit requires approximately 7-9 business days to program before shipping.

TRANSMISSION COMPATIBILITY: Our upgraded keyfob kit is compatible with automatic, DCT, and manual transmissions.

FOR MANUAL TRANSMISSION VEHICLES: The remote start feature can work if the clutch can be engaged without pressing the pedal. A professional installer can add a relay to engage the clutch, enabling remote start functionality. Please ensure your vehicle is not in gear when activating remote start. We strongly recommend consulting a professional alarm system installer to properly set up remote start for manual transmission vehicles. All other features, including keyless entry and the 4G LTE connected mobile app, remain fully functional.

FOR CONVERTIBLE VEHICLES: Although this kit offers a wide range of upgraded features, including keyless bypass, remote start, and more, it does not have the capability to operate the convertible top. For convertible models, the key fob can control the window functions, allowing the windows to roll up and down upon locking or unlocking. However, there is currently no functionality to operate the soft top or hardtop convertible mechanism through this kit.

RESTOCKING FEE POLICY: This product is a high-value electronic component, and all returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee. Due to the advanced electronics used in this retrofit kit, we are unable to resell returned units. As a result, any returned keyfob kits will incur a 15% restocking fee. Please ensure compatibility before purchasing.

BATTERY WARNING: After the kit is installed, when replacing the vehicle battery, make sure the control module power cable (red wire) is not plugged in. Leaving it connected during replacement can potentially short the control module and cause damage to the system.

ATTENTION COMFORT ACCESS CUSTOMERS: This upgraded keyfob kit is designed for vehicles with or without Comfort Access — it works for both.

For vehicles equipped with factory Comfort Access, please note that this kit will take over the factory Comfort Access control once installed. Because this system adds new functionality (such as remote start, mobile app control, lock/unlock, and additional features) and requires installation of our control module, some factory Comfort Access behaviors may operate differently afterward — this is 100% normal.

Example: Some customers may notice features like mirror fold on lock/unlock behaving differently. In most cases, this is related to the vehicle’s wiring configuration and settings, and it does not indicate a problem with the kit. Minor changes to certain Comfort Access functions can occur due to how the new control module interfaces with the vehicle.

ALARM SYSTEM DISCLAIMER: When installing any aftermarket remote start kit, certain factory functions may need to be rerouted or traded off due to differences in vehicle signaling. For example, the alarm system or siren portion of the vehicle may be disconnected or affected to allow the remote start system to function properly.

If retaining the factory siren/alarm functionality is a major priority for you, this remote start kit may not be the best option. Professional installation is required if you would like to attempt to retain the alarm system while adding remote start functionality.
