Print your label
We will email you back with your pre-paid return label. Simply print it out and head over to the shipping courier stated on the label.
Box it up
Re-package the product using all included protective covering to ensure the item arrives back in original condition.
Drop it off
Drop off your package at the provided shipping courier's facility. Once the package has arrived at our BAVMODS® facility, your refund will be issued.

BAVMODS Return Policy
Thank you for shopping with BAVMODS! We are committed to providing the highest quality products and service. If you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase, we accept returns on most orders within 30 days of receipt.
General Return Policy
• Money-Back Guarantee: We offer a money-back guarantee on most items, whether the product arrives defective or doesn’t fit. You don’t have to worry about the hassle of arguing over returns.
• Condition Requirements: Items must be returned in new, unused condition, with all original accessories and packaging intact to be eligible for a return.
• Restocking Fees: Returned items will be fully refunded unless a restocking fee is clearly stated at the time of purchase or a return label is required due to circumstances beyond BAVMODS’ control.
Shipping Damage & Inspection
• Inspect Upon Delivery: We highly recommend inspecting all BAVMODS products immediately upon receipt. While we thoroughly inspect each item and ensure it ships in brand new condition, damage can occasionally occur during transit.
• Damage Reporting: Any visible or functional defects or damage must be reported within 7 days of receiving the product. Reporting damage after days/weeks/months shifts the liability to the customer, as we cannot be responsible for issues occurring after the initial delivery window.
• Package Forwarding Liability: BAVMODS carefully selects and screens our shipping couriers to ensure that products arrive defect-free. However, if you forward the package using a third-party courier at your own cost, any damage that occurs after the original delivery is the customer’s responsibility.
Custom Steering Wheels
• Custom Product Policy: Custom steering wheels are handmade to order and are not eligible for a flat refund due to the significant labor involved. However, if there is an issue with the craftsmanship (e.g., stitching, striping, etc.), we will work with you to resolve it.
• Case-by-Case Resolution: Any defects or issues with custom steering wheels will be handled on a case-by-case basis by our BAVMODS resolution team. We will correct any faults on our end to ensure you are satisfied.
Domestic Return Labels
• Free Return Labels: We provide return labels at no cost for defective or incorrect items within the U.S. if the issue is due to an error on our part.
• Buyer’s Remorse: If the return is due to reasons beyond our control (e.g., buyer’s remorse or a change of mind), the full price of the item will be refunded, minus the original shipping and return shipping costs.
International Return Policy

We offer international shipping to hundreds of countries, and all international orders receive the same 24/7 customer support as our domestic customers.
• Returns & Exchanges: International returns are handled on a case-by-case basis and are subject to BAVMODS’ discretion. Products must be in new, unused condition with all original packaging and accessories to qualify for a return.
• Non-Refundable Shipping Charges: International shipping fees (typically $19.99) are non-refundable, even if the order is returned. If the return is due to reasons such as buyer’s remorse, the customer is responsible for the return shipping cost, or the cost will be deducted from the refund amount.
• Return Example: If you paid $29.99 for the product and $19.99 for shipping, only the $29.99 product price is eligible for a refund, making the total refundable amount $29.99.
• VAT & Customs Disclaimer: BAVMODS waives all sales taxes on international orders, but customers are responsible for paying any customs duties, taxes, or additional fees required by their local government. These charges vary by country and are not covered by BAVMODS.
Custom Products & Special Conditions
• Custom Steering Wheels: As custom steering wheels are handcrafted and made to order, they are not eligible for full refunds. However, we will address any defects related to craftsmanship (e.g., stitching, striping) at no additional cost.
• Non-Returnable Items: Products that have been used, installed, or modified, as well as custom items (outside of custom steering wheels), are not eligible for returns or refunds.

BAVMODS Custom Steering Wheel Policy (Returns, Cancellations, Lead Time, and Warranty)
At BAVMODS, we take pride in offering premium handcrafted custom steering wheels built to an OEM-level standard. Our steering wheels are not generic third-party or low-quality aftermarket products. Each wheel is made to order using genuine materials and an authentic BMW core to ensure factory-level fitment, feel, and functionality.
Built-to-Order, Handcrafted Construction:
All BAVMODS custom steering wheels are handcrafted to order using genuine carbon fiber materials, genuine leathers, and hand-stitched finishes. To guarantee a true factory fit, we build our steering wheels using original BMW core wheels. This ensures proper fitment for trim pieces, buttons, and all factory mounting points. Non-OEM steering wheel cores often cause poor alignment, button fitment issues, trim gaps, and inconsistent final results, which is why BAVMODS does not use non-OEM cores for our custom builds.
Estimated Build Time and Order Updates:
Because each wheel is made by hand and built to the customer’s exact specification, production time typically ranges from 2 to 4 weeks depending on the complexity of the build and current production volume. Once the steering wheel has passed our quality assurance process, we will send the customer detailed verified photos for final approval. After the customer confirms the photos match their ordered specifications, the steering wheel will be cleared for shipment.
Final Approval and Customer Acknowledgement:
Customer photo approval prior to shipment serves as acknowledgement that the steering wheel matches the requested build specification. Any requested changes, corrections, or concerns must be communicated immediately after receiving the verification photos and before shipment. If an issue is discovered after delivery, the customer must notify BAVMODS within 72 hours of delivery so we can properly document and resolve the concern.
Cancellations and Refund Policy:
All BAVMODS custom steering wheels are handmade to order and require custom materials to be sourced and allocated specifically for each build. Due to the level of customization and the significant labor involved, custom steering wheel orders are non-refundable once production has started. This is because the materials and labor invested into the build cannot be reversed, and the wheel is built to one customer’s unique design specifications.
While we do not offer outright returns or full refunds for custom steering wheels, customer satisfaction is extremely important to us. If a customer receives a steering wheel that does not match the approved specifications or arrives with a verified issue, BAVMODS will work with the customer to resolve it appropriately.
Warranty Coverage:
All BAVMODS custom steering wheels include a 12-month (1-year) manufacturer warranty covering manufacturing defects and workmanship issues including, but not limited to, carbon fiber cracking, leather peeling, stitching defects, and material failure under normal use conditions. This warranty does not cover physical damage, improper installation, misuse, or normal wear and tear.

BAVMODS Exhaust System Returns, Cancellations, and Warranty Policy
At BAVMODS, we offer a generous return policy on most products as long as the item is returned in new, unused condition and within the eligible return window. Our team is also happy to assist with one-for-one exchanges when needed. However, due to the nature of our exhaust systems, special policies apply.
Built-to-Order Exhaust Systems:
Our exhaust systems are not generic off-the-shelf or universal systems. Each exhaust requires hands-on preparation through our U.S. facility, including configuration and assembly for your specific setup, spot-checking fitment and hardware, material allocation and preparation, welding inspection and quality assurance, and final QA certification prior to shipping. Once your exhaust system has passed QA, our team may provide detailed photos of your completed system prior to shipment. We aim to deliver high-end quality and performance at a significantly lower price than many major exhaust manufacturers.
Estimated Turnaround Time:
Typical build and processing time is 2 to 3 weeks for standard configurations and 4 to 5 weeks for more complex configurations, including valve-equipped setups. These timeframes are estimates and may vary depending on production volume, supply availability, and system configuration.
Cancellation Policy:
Because exhaust systems require immediate material allocation and labor, cancellations are handled as follows. Orders may be eligible for cancellation within 48 hours of purchase only if manufacturing or configuration has not started. Orders cannot be canceled after 48 hours, as materials and labor are typically already allocated to the build. In rare cases where a cancellation is approved after 48 hours, a 30% custom configuration and material allocation fee will apply. Once an exhaust order has shipped, it cannot be canceled.
Returns and Restocking (Exhaust Systems Only):
Due to the custom nature of these products, exhaust systems returns are strictly handled case-by-case and must be returned new, unused, and uninstalled, and must include all original packaging and components if approved. A 30% restocking fee will apply to approved exhaust returns. Original shipping costs are non-refundable. Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility unless the return is due to a verified issue caused by BAVMODS, such as a manufacturer defect or incorrect shipment. Items returned incomplete, damaged due to improper packaging, used, installed, or altered are not eligible for return.
Non-Returnable and Ineligible Returns:
The following are not eligible for return: installed or used exhaust systems; special-order or configured-to-order exhaust systems unless approved in writing by BAVMODS; items returned incomplete or missing components; items returned damaged due to improper packaging; return requests submitted outside the return window.
Fitment Responsibility:
It is the customer’s responsibility to verify chassis code, engine type, exhaust configuration, and valve versus non-valve setup prior to ordering. If you are unsure, please contact us before placing your order and our team will assist you.
Warranty Coverage:
All BAVMODS exhaust systems include a 1-year limited warranty covering manufacturer defects, welding defects or imperfections, and hardware-related failures under normal use. This warranty does not cover physical damage (scrapes, dents, impact damage), normal heat-related discoloration, gaskets that wear over time or require replacement, or labor and installation charges from third-party shops. For valved exhaust systems, valve components and electronics are covered under the warranty for parts only.
Disputes and Chargebacks:
We encourage customers to contact us first so we can help resolve any concerns quickly and professionally. If a payment dispute is opened with a bank or card provider, BAVMODS may be required to submit order documentation, tracking information, and the posted policy for review.
By purchasing an exhaust system from BAVMODS, the customer acknowledges and agrees to these terms.
