This upgrade also prevents oil mist or fuel and water vapor from reaching the positive crankcase ventilation valves, known as blow-by.

I bought this for my BMW 335XI and I was fascinated how much water and dirty looking fuel this catch can caught within the first month. I live in a humid environment and have always been curious how that could affect my BMW and after installing this I was able to see water physically trapped in the catch can. Super cool upgrade and even better experiment.
